2020 has been named as the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife by the World Health Organisation, marks the 200th birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale AND if that wasn’t enough it’s the year when we turn 30!
Monash University merged with Chisholm Institute of Technology in July 1990 and since then, when our first students of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Nursing) graduated, we have been at the forefront of nursing education, educating nearly 13,000 nurses and midwives - That’s about 400 per year for the last 30 years!
To celebrate this milestone, we are taking time to look back, and acknowledge the achievements of our alumni, and look forward to the next 30 years with a Garden Party, to be held on Saturday 22nd February 2020, from 2.00-5.00pm on the lawn outside the Library (Building L) at Peninsula Campus.
